Purchased from Amazon (who would think Amazon sells die-cast?) for under $20, this is a very nice die-cast model. Sometimes pictures can be deceiving, but in this case, what you see is what you get.

The model is finely molded and includes a surprising amount of detail for such a small scale.
The model includes:
1) full wing rigging and the picture frame support struts on the other wing struts

2) a nicely painted propeller and a detailed hub

3) a tiny pilot figure and windscreen

4) colorful markings

5) a fairly good amount of metal - the model has some weight to it

After a few "embellishments" of my own, I have a real attractive model of the SPAD.XIII in 72nd scale.

A size comparison with a 72nd scale P-51 Mustang.
