Whew made it. Looks nice enough. How are you guys transferring your posts from there to here? When you look at the list of topics all of the "checking ins" make us sound like a squadron or something. Repost of my original introduction:

I'm new to diecast collecting and especially warbirds. I found you guys while trying to find out more about Marushin models and your section about them was helpful (wound up buying a Zero). Most of my modest collection is 1/48 Hobby master including Yeager's P51, Boyington's photo op Corsair, Galland's Bf109, Gabreski's P47N, and a Spit with a yellow spinner...forgot who flew that one. I also have a 1/72 AF 1 B25 signed by Dick Cole and a USS Midway F-4 Phantom by Air Commander I think. I also have about 130 or so 1:400 airliners which is my main collection at the moment but am having a lot of fun with these. Oh yeah I have a few 1;200 airliners but I self limit those to ones I've actually flown so that will stay around 4! I had built many of these as a kid so that and their history is why I think I'm attracted to these. I hope to gain insight as to decent and no so decent brands and models and thanks in advance for any advice.

Dave

Dave,

Nice to see ya here man!  Glad you could follow us.

What I do to carry my threads over is:

1) Log into the Warbird Forum like you always did.

2) Open a second window to this forum and login.

3) On the Warbird Forum, find your thread you want to carry over.  In that thread, click the "edit" button.

4) Now highlight your text (I just click and drag over the whole thread) and copy it.

5) Now switch back to this forum.  Find the sub-forum that applies to your topic.  Start a new thread.

6) Paste your thread.  Change any formatting to suit your taste.  Then click send.

It's actually a rather straight-forward process.

Welcome to the new forum. Nice introduction and good idea reposting it here.
