Here is a Corgi made US Corporal Missile Carrier and Launcher. They were made by Corgi back in the late 50's and 60's. I have restored a couple sets of these. They are diecast metal with rubber tires. The Missile once had a hammer/anvil set up that the user could place a cap pistol cap inside to get a bang noise when the missile was dropped. The truck is used to tow the launcher to the site and the Carrier sets the missile on the launcher for firing...

Very nice pics from yesteryear. I bet these were not cheap back in the day and are very rare now. Thanks for sharing these.

You are welcome, K. When I was a kid in the early 1970's, the local hardware store my father went to, had a huge countertop Corgi display. It contained many different models but as kids, we never went up to it as my father would never consider buying one for us kids. I imagine they were very expensive!

I friend of mine had many Corgis and Dinkys as a kid. They were in their boxes in a wood milk crate in his living room. When we were over at his house, we were not allowed to touch them!

Tom
