Corgi Aviation Archive Collector Series
AA35806
RCAF Canadair F-86 Sabre Mk. 5
"Golden Hawks" Air Demonstration Team, RCAF Station Chatham, New Brunswick,  Canada, 1959
1/72 Scale

Nice model. Never referred to as the "Sabre" in Canadian Service - was always called the "Sword".

This is the only game in town if you want to have a RCAF F-86 in this scale (This changed with the introduction of Hobby Master's superior version of the Golden Hawks F-86 in 2013.  See link below to see review of the Hobby Master Golden Hawks F-86:

The main thing I don't care for are the incorrect post 1965 roundels used by Corgi (The Golden Hawks disappeared in 1964).

The Roundel was changed when the Canadian Flag was changed from the Red Ensign (as seen on the vertical fin) to the Red and White Maple Leaf Flag in 1965.
